The school-leaving qualifications offered at schools in USP member countries are categorised as equivalent to passing Form 6 or passing Form 7. The criteria for admission for school-leaver applicants are:
1. Bachelorís Degree, Diploma and Certificate Programs
To be admitted to bachelorís degree, diploma or certificate program, applicants must have passed Form 7 or equivalent, or completed a Foundation program.
2. Foundation Programs
School-leaver applicants are eligible for admission to Foundation programs if they have completed the relevant Preliminary program or passed Form 6 or equivalent.
Applicants who have obtained the equivalent of an aggregate in English and three other subject s of between 200 and 250 marks in a Form 7 exam must pass one, two or three Foundation courses as specified below, before they can be admitted to a degree program:

3. Preliminary Programs
The Preliminary programs are recommended for mature students. They also provide preparation for entry into the Foundation program for those who have not quite passed Form 6 or who have performed badly in Form 7 examinations.
Applicants who have obtained the equivalent of an aggregate in English and three other subjects of between 170 and 250 marks in a Form 6 Examination must pass the Preliminary courses specified below before they can be admitted to a Foundation programs:
